I believe your personal finances are just that “Personal”
and wouldn’t normally reach out for help, but it seems my problems are quickly
getting out of hand. I do, however,
believe I’ve got a pretty good solution and wanted to run it by you to get your
feedback.
My current income is
$4,166 per month. My total spending has
been averaging about $6,159 per month. I
know that is quite a bit more going out than coming in, but I have very good
credit and have been financing the difference on my credit cards (I currently
owe approximately $348,000).
Unfortunately, I’m nearing my credit limit and need to make some
decisions.
I’ve been working-over my boss to try and get a raise. I’m asking for an extra $150 per month. This, obviously, will go a long way to help
solve the problem.
I’ve also been negotiating to increase my credit limit. This is something I’ve done numerous times
before without much resistance. It’s
proving to be a little more difficult this time, but I’ve assured them, if they
just raise my credit limit this last time, I’ll start cutting back on my
spending maybe some time next year.
So, while I believe I’ve got a pretty good handle on the
situation, any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely
F. E. Deralgov
